Jody Michael Samora

Jody Michael Samora, 40, of San Angelo passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Graveside Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 20 at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive guests for visitation on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Jody (Our JOJO) was born on November 4, 1982, to Norma Donnell, in Pearsall, Tx. Jody was a special person that once you met him, you took a piece of him with you. He was the light that shined in so many lives. Jody had a big support system. He taught his family, how to love with compassion and care. He was truly the glue that held the family together. Jody was Always happy. He wasnt always the most patient, but he was always happy. He loved music and loved to hum along when someone would sing to him. Comfort was a big deal to Jody. He always had to have a fluffy pillow, sweats, and a nice sweatshirt. He had a passion for food and loved to eat. His favorite was tapioca pudding. Jody was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Samora Donnell, grandparents Domingo and Ester Samora. Those left to cherish his memory were his two sisters: Tessa Danea Samora, and Tiffany Danyale Harper, and her husband Roderick, Several Nieces and nephews and cousins, his aunts: Cynthia Gonzales, Terry Stafford, and Irene Samora, and uncle, Henry Samora. The family would like to send their sincere gratitude to his caregivers: Martha Ortiz, Tonjah Cooper, and Monica Guevara.
