Joe Ray Bridwell, 61, of Perryton died Wednesday, February 16, 2022. The family will host a memorial service at 10:00 am Monday, February 21, 2022, at Church of Christ Perryton (1301 S. Jefferson St. 79070) officiated by Billy McCallie. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Joe was born in Pampa on November 18, 1960, to Pete and Virginia Bridwell. Joe was a hardworking cowboy. In his younger years, he was a team roper. Spent many years up and down the highway roping. He was a true friend to many. Joe met the love of his life, Becky, through mutual friends. They married on April 18, 1980. Becky was his whole world. He was very passionate about his family. Every Sunday he made sure to call his friends and family. He was known as "grumpy" to his grandchildren. He also loved his mules, golf, and old westerns. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Frank Bridwell. He is survived by his wife, Becky Bridwell, two daughters; Casie Westfall and Kylie Lindsey and her husband Luke, one son, Lee Bridwell and his wife Lacie, five grandchildren; Zayla, Audie, Zander, Eliza, and Ira, one sister, Verna Smith and her husband Dave, one sister-in-law, Madonna Bridwell, three brothers; John and his wife Judy, Vick, and Jim Bridwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Center or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
