Joe Bill "JD" Davis, 59, of Amarillo died Wednesday July 22, 2020. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Monday July 27 at Lifeway Fellowship Church officiated by Dr. Randy Davis. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Joe was Born September 13, 1960 in Amarillo to June Chambers and Billy Davis. He enjoyed Harleys, fishing, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid pool player. He played in league. His real passion was his family. He loved his grandchildren with all of his heart. Joe married the love of his life Penny in 1979. She Caught his eye in high school. They were high school sweet hearts. Joe was preceded in death by his father, and his brother Jason Davis. He is survived by his wife, His mother, his daughter, Shanda Elaine Davis; his two sons, Joe Heath Davis and his wife Carla and Jon Carl Davis and his wife Megan; His sister, Rhonda Elaine Sitch and her husband Warren; His niece Roxanne Dean; five grandchildren, Tatem, Zoey, Brinley, Dax, and Kenna; one great grandchild, Evelyn.
