Joe Giesler, 88, of Amarillo died Saturday, November 14, 2020. Service will be 10:30 December 15, 2020, at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Joe was born in Wabasha, MN on March 21, 1932, to Norma and Joseph B. Giesler. He was a proud Airforce veteran of the Korean War. After Korea, He moved to Amarillo. Joe was a master aircraft technician; his skills were utilized not only to work on aircraft but to train his coworkers as well. Mr. Giesler left the service in 1968. The skills he learned would be used again when he went on to work at Crown Mobile Home. Joe worked in the mobile home industry for 25 years. He was also an entrepreneur, opening up many mobile home businesses such as Royal Mobile Homes and Caprock Campers. After all the business adventures he settled into managing Sunrise Mobile Home Park and Colonial Manor. Joe was a hard-working man, but also was a compassionate person who did whatever he could to help others. He was dedicated to providing for his children. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Patric Giesler, three brothers; John, James and his wife Sharon and Eddie Giesler. He is survived by his three sons; John Edward, Joseph Arthur, and Jefferey Robert Giesler, four grandchildren; Lana, Jordin, Joseph, and Charles.
