Joe Ray Lyles

Joe Ray Lyles, 67, passed away on July 06, 2023 at a local hospital in Amarillo, Texas . Joe was born on June 10, 1956 in Matador, TX to parents Euman and Jean Warren Lyles. Joe's working career was as a heavy equipment operator and he became a master at his craft as a Finish Blade Operator. His favorite pastimes were spending time with his family, reading and playing with his granddaughter and catching up with friends. He also enjoyed working on any type of vehichle with wheels, including the various two and four-wheeled vehichles around the house. He was preceded in death by his parents Euman and Jean Warren Lyles and a nephew. Joe is survived by his wife Christina Ruth LeValley Lyles; son Clint and wife Kendra Lyles of Amarillo; granddaughter Hadleigh Lyles. 2 brothers and their wives; Charles and Evelyn Lyles and Larry and Pat Lyles all of Amarillo as well as a niece and two nephews and their families. A Memorial Service will be held 10 AM Monday, July 10, 2023 at Southlawn Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Boyer officiating. Funeral arrangements were trusted to Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S.
