Joe Lynn Mathews, 61, of Fritch died Wednesday March 4th, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S Osage. Joe Lynn was born march 4th 1959 in Groom to his mother Alice Mathews. He was raised in Memphis, but spent the majority of his life in the Texas Panhandle. Joe Lynn was a very respectful man, He was big hearted, kind and caring. He would give the shirt off of his back to help someone in need. He worked in the construction industry for 40 years. He was hard working and dedicated. There was no job to big or too small for Joe Lynn. His work ethic meant a lot to him. When Joe Lynn wasnt working, he enjoyed the simple things, he enjoyed drawing and painting. He loved to play his PlayStation. His favorite game was Assassins Creed. He loved to teach his family how to play. Joe Lynn was preceded in death by his mother, his grandparents, Joe and Hilda Mathews, one aunt Anna Hair and her husband Winfred, three uncles; Leroy hall, Weldon Nail, and John Kennedy. He is survived by his two sons; Joseph Mathews, and his wife Marcy, and Josh Mathews and his wife Mandy, one uncle, Jack Mathews and his wife Frances, five Aunts; Juanita Norton and her husband Ray, Gladys Kennedy, Betty Nail, Billie Balzer, and Mary Dugger, and many cousins.
