Joel Bell 48, of Amarillo died Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Gil Hiltbrunner of Shiloh Fellowship officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Joel was born on June 5, 1967 in Amarillo to Bobby Rex and Sally (Kerns) Bell. He worked as a driver for Golden Spread Redi Mix for 10 years. Joel was a perfectionist and was very meticulous as to how the cement he delivered was mixed. He made many life-long friends through his work. Joel was a exemplary family man. He strived to be a role model for his children. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a very big hearted gentleman. He enjoyed helping others that were less fortunate than him. He had a knack for building things. He never drew out plans. He was able to build them from designs he thought of in his head, and they always turned out beautifully. Joel married the love of his life, Kelley Jeppson on December 27, 1996 in Amarillo. Joel is survived by his wife of the home, one daughter, Jennifer Bell of the home; two sons, Jobe and Joseph Bell of the home; his mother, Sally Bell of Amarillo; two sisters, Sandy Reneau and Robin McDaniel both of Amarillo; one brother, Mike Bell of Amarillo and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and a host of cherished friends. The family requests memorial donations to the Jobe, Jennifer and Joseph Bell Scholarship fund in care of Well Fargo Bank.
