John Cidro Gallegos

John Cidro Gallegos, 83 of Amarillo TX passed to be with the lord on August 17th, 2018 with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe church. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Rosary will be held on Monday August 20, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Rector Funeral home on Osage. Family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday. John was born May 15, 1935 in Logan NM to Feliciano Gallegos and Eulalia Miranda. He married Viola Gallegos in 1956, Amarillo TX. He worked at Pantex for 46 years as an expediter. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. He loved his Texas Ranger's, Dallas Cowboys and his puppies. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe church. He was preceded in death by his Parents Feliciano Gallegos and Eulalia Miranda, Wife Viola Gallegos, two Brothers, one Sister, and his puppy Raider. Survived by His son George Gallegos and Wife Shirley Gallegos, daughter Elaine Mercer of Amarillo TX, Sisters Rena and husband Victor of Albuquerque NM, Barbara of Tucumcari NM, and Tony and Efinita of Dumas TX, Granddaughters Ashley Lovato, Megan Gallegos, and Lindsey Finley of Amarillo TX, Great Grandchildren Paisley Jones, Gannon Lovato, Ava Smith, Jayvian Gallegos, and Jazmier Gallegos.
