John A Majors Jr., 72, of Amarillo passed away on Thursday February 4, 2016 in Amarillo. John was born May 12, 1943 in Brownwood Memorial Hospital - Brownwood, Texas to John Albert and Linnie Grace Allgood Majors. John is preceded in death by a nephew, Russell Schomacker. He is survived by a daughter; Glenda Kay Majors, 2 sisters; Marilyn Harris and husband Ben of Amarillo, and Rosalie Wilson and husband Ken of De Land, FL., four nieces; Sharon Beagles and husband Danny of Amarillo, Carol Moore and husband Wayne of Topeka, KS, Gloria Castleberry of Amarillo, and Rebecca Schomacker of De Land, FL, two nephews; Richard Baize and wife Leslie of Tampa, FL., and David Curtis of MO.
