John 'Coach' Segura

John "Coach" Segura 58, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10 am Friday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Ervin Bennett officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Friday at Silverton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. John was born on April 5, 1962 in Plainview to Ramon A. and Lydia Segura. He graduated from Silverton High School in 1981. John enlisted into the Marine Corps 1982. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal in 1986. He worked at Affiliated Foods for 20 years. He was currently employed at Tascosa Building Products. John was fondly referred to as "Coach" by the Kaos Girls Softball Team, which he coached for many years. John married Jennifer Morgan on October 28, 1991. He was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Gloria and his brother, Peter. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Shonna Lynn London; three sons; Christopher Segura, Herbie Segura and Shaun T. Chischilly; his mother Lydia; two sisters, Judy Segura and Rosie Morales; two brothers, Santos Segura and Paul Segura; 8 grandchildren Adrianna, Taylor, Adrian, Tyler, Elijah, Morgan, Brayden and Kingston.
