Johnny E. Anderson

Johnny E. Anderson 56, of Amarillo died Saturday October 31, 2009 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Paramount Baptist Church with Dr. Gil Lain, pastor officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Anderson was born on January 1, 1953 in Union City, TN, to Ralph and Opal Anderson. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1971. Johnny worked as a truck driver for Affiliated Foods for more than 20 years. He also received recognition for being a safe driver for 20 years. He later worked at United Supermarket Fuel Station. He married Rebecca ""Becky"" Kinsey on June 15, 1974 in Amarillo. Johnny was a family man. He loved his wife and sons with all of his heart. He enjoyed watching his sons grow up and was very proud of them. Johnny had a gift of making friends and enjoyed talking to people. He made many friends during his life's journey. A brother James Anderson of Monroe, LA preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of the home, 3 sons, John Anderson and his wife Kimberly and Brian Anderson and his wife Heather all of Amarillo and Donnie Anderson and his wife Melissa of Edmond, OK; His parents, Ralph and Opal Anderson of Amarillo, 7 grandchildren, Damon Frost, Baylor Anderson, Noah Harris, Hope Anderson, Payton Story, Aidan Anderson and Oliver Anderson; and a special friend Carol Goff.
