Johnny Guillen, Jr. 52 of Amarillo died Tuesday February 10, 2009 in Amarillo. Rosary will be said at 6:30 PM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Arturo Meza officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Johnny was born in Navasota. He graduated from Hereford High School. He moved to Amarillo 30 years ago from Hereford. Johnny worked for Sudden Link as a telephone technician for 7 years. He loved playing pool and pitching horseshoes. He played in on many pool leagues and won numerous trophies at the annual Clanton Invitational Shoot-Out. He was a loving father, son and brother. Johnny will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include 1 daughter, Monica Guillen of Amarillo; 2 sons, Daniel Guillen and his fianc Mayra Gutierrez and Martin Guillen and his wife Julianna all of Amarillo; his mother Minnie Guillen of Hereford; 2 sisters, Angie Rico and Norma Trevino both of Hereford; 3 brothers, Jessie Guillen of Amarillo and Ramiro Guillen and Anthony Guillen both of Hereford; 4 grandchildren, Ayden Guillen, Nathaniel Joe Balderas, Noan Jo'Von Carrasco and Jazlyn Thayla Guillen.
