Jose 'Big Joe' Driscoll

Jose "Big Joe" Driscoll 64, of Amarillo died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Amarillo. Prayer services will be at 6:00 PM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Hector Madrigal, celebrant officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Joe was born in Victoria. He moved to Amarillo in 2007 from Victoria. Joe was a hard worker and was very well respected at Diaz Trucking, where he transported sand and gravel for several years. He married Emilia Flores on October 19, 1996 at Victoria. Joe was a very fun loving husband, father and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Yvonne Chico and Melanie Driscoll both of Victoria; one son, Joey Driscoll of San Antonio; one brother, two sisters, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
