Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm Sunday, October 17 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Monday, October 18 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Arturo Meza as celebrant. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home. Jose passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010, at BSA Hospice, after a tough battle with cancer. He was born in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua on September 24, 1953 to Antonio and Justina Loya. He worked most of his life in road construction with Gilvin-Terrill Ltd. Construction and later with Nick Thomas Inc. oil field services. He married his wife, Hermelinda Loya, on January 17, 1975, and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Jose was a true family man, with a kind and generous heart, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. The family would like to convey their appreciation to all who cared for Jose during his illness. Survivors include his wife; a son, Tony Loya; 2 daughters, Teresa Loya-Moreno and husband Juan Aaron, and Selena Perales all of Amarillo; parents, Antonio and Justina Loya of Dell City; a sister, Maria Esther ""Marcy"" Guillen also of Dell City; a brother, Victor Pascual Loya of Odessa; and 3 grandchildren, Christian Loya, Makayla Loya, and Valentina Moreno.
