Jose Luis Perez

Jose Luis Perez, 84 of Amarillo died Tuesday, September 3, 2002. Prayer services will be at 6:00 PM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel, Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Francisco Perez officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Perez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He moved to Amarillo in 1952 from Mexico. He worked at Dolcaters Shoe Repair for many years. He married Consuelo Mendoza in 1940 at Mexico. Survivors include: his wife of the home, 1 daughter; Martha Figueroa of Camarillo, CA, 3 sons; Gus Perez, Ernie Perez and Ruben Perez all of Amarillo, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
