Joseph Isidro Mata

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00 pm Monday, April 18 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 19 at Messiah's House with Jackie Findley, pastor of Christian Lighthouse Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Joseph was born on December 13, 1978 in Amarillo to Joe I. Mata Jr. and Nelle Mata-Ollinger. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1997. He married Crystal Wright on July 24, 2010 and was a member of Christian Lighthouse Church. His first love was his family, especially his wife and 2 children, Seanna and Domanik. His passion and time went into his work with NuBlu Tattoo. He also loved playing baseball and softball with his friends and family. He never knew a stranger, and was a free spirit who loved to talk to anyone. He was a faithful husband, a caring father, and beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend. ""The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore."" Psalm 121:8 He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joe I. Mata Sr., Raymond Jerry Ollinger, and William Fetterman; grandmother, Faye Ollinger; Aunts, Linda ""JoJo"" Mata and Marianne Mata. Survivors include his wife, Crystal Mata; 2 children, Seanna and Domanik; parents, Joe I. Mata Jr. and wife Alice, and Nelle Ollinger; sister, Melanie Montrose and husband Eric; father and mother in law, Scott and Diann Wright; 2 brother in laws, Brandon Wright and wife Melissa, and Cody Wright and girlfriend Joanna; 3 nieces, Delaney, Jasmine, and Rosemary; a nephew, Max; 11 aunts and uncles, 88 cousins, and a host of friends. The family requests that memorials be made to Amarillo National Bank under the benefit for Joseph ""JoJoe"" Mata III.
