Joseph Matthew Talamantez, 23, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 5, 2021. The memorial service will be 3:00 pm Friday, June 25, 2021, at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Rosary will be 6:00 pm Thursday, June 24 at the funeral home. Joseph was born May 17, 1998, in Lubbock to Jessica and Robert Talamantez. Joseph was a happy-go-lucky young man, he was very kind and loving. His work ethic was unreal. he was a very hard worker. Joseph was the type of person that if he set his mind to something he would succeed, no matter how long it took. Joseph enjoyed writing music and rapping as well, but his true passion in life was his daughters. They meant the world to him. He would do anything for those little girls. Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Paul, his grandparents Linda Adams, Celestino Talamantez, and Pablo Medellin, His great-grandma, Sylvia Moore, and her husband Orby, and his Godfather, Johnny Medellin. He is survived by his parents, his daughters; Paisley Renee and Aliyah Rae, his sister, Sylvia Talamantez, his three brothers; Robert Jr., Vincent, and Charles Talamantez, and his niece and nephews, Emerie, Caidence, and Johnathan.
