Jovan Dragojlo

Jovan Dragojlo 63, of Amarillo died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at Llano Cemetery with JD Luckie officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jovan was born in a small town of Knin, Croatia as the youngest of three. When he was sixteen he moved to Slovenia to start a new life. Eight years later he met Mirjana and they were together five years when they decided to get married. They were married on November 15, 1981. Afterwards they returned back to Croatia and there they had three daughters. In August of 1995 Jovan and his family had to leave their home because of the war. For years they lived in Kosovo. In 2000 Jovan decided to move to the United States to provide a better future for himself and his family. In 2001 Jovan and his family arrived in the United States. For many years Jovan worked and provided a safe home full of love and kindness for his family. He was a great Husband, Father, Brother and Friend. Survivors include his wife, Mirjana; three daughters, Sanja, Jelena and Jovana; a stepdaughter, Marijana; a step-son, Matej; two sisters, Milka and Jela; two grandchildren Alex and Maja.
