Joyce Anderson

Joyce Anderson, 82, of Amarillo died Monday, April 23, 2018 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Llano Cemetery with Daniel Mooney, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church of Pampa officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Joyce was born on Oct. 17, 1935 in Amarillo. She married Howard Elliott, Sr. in 1951. To that union were born 4 children, Deborah, Sue, Connie and Howard, Jr. She married Morris Glenn Anderson in 1969 and Lisa was born to that marriage. Joyce was a Christian. She was a loving and devoted Mother. Joyce was very social and enjoyed Bingo. She never met a stranger and had an amazing sense of Humor. Joyce was a perpetual home room mother and Brownie leader. She enjoyed many different crafts and also enjoyed her friends and the staff at Jan Werner, where she was also active and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Joyce was was preceded in death by Mr. Anderson in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her father, Andrew Frank Loehrer, her mother Sina Mildred Loehrer. She is survived by four daughters, Deborah Upton and her husband Ricky and Lisa Anderson all of Amarillo, Sue Warren and her husband Lyndel of Ransom Canyon and Connie Krenning and her husband Charles of Oklahoma City; one son, Howard Elliott, Jr. and his wife Heidi of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
