Joyce 'Jo' Daniels

Joyce "Jo" Daniels, 78, of Pampa, died Thursday, December 9, 2021. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage Amarillo, TX. Jo Daniels was born in Meadville MS. on February 8, 1943, to Lloyd and Ruby Foote. She moved to Pampa in 1955 and graduated from Pampa High School in 1961. Jo and her mother opened Modern Beauty Shop in 1970. She was a passionate beautician. She met the love of her life, Jerry Daniels, in 1991. They got married in 1996. Jo sold the beauty shop and they moved to Washington. She moved to Oregon soon after. In 1998 they moved back to Pampa. They went on countless adventures together. Jo was active in her church, Central Baptist Church. She loved her church and all that attended. She was well known around the Pampa community for doing hair. She was also very active and helped in her grandchildren's lives. Jo Daniels was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Ruby Loyd, one brother-in-law, Bob Weatherly She is survived by her husband, Jerry Daniels, her daughter, Michele McCutchen and her husband John, three stepdaughters; Jinna Daniels and Dana Svennungson and her husband Kurt, and Diette Berry, one step son, Kerry Daniels, Five grandchildren; Hall Christopher and his wife Taylor, Greyson Christopher, Lacy Freeman and her husband Justin, Kyle Mesneak, and Rachel Mullins and her husband Josh, 8 great-grandchildren, her two sisters; Glenda Weatherly and Kim Shell and her husband Craig.
