Joyce "Euton" Dendy 68 of Amarillo died Monday, March 31, 2003, at Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Llano Cemetery with Dr. Gil Lain, pastor of Paramount Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas, 79103. Mrs. Dendy was born in Amarillo. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1952. She worked in the catalog department at Sears for 20 years. She retired in 1991. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Dendy in 1980. She married J. Roger Dendy in 1952 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband of the home, 1 daughter Jonita Fiel and her husband Rick of Amarillo, 1 son Jerry Dendy of Amarillo, 2 grandchildren, Ryan Fiel and his wife Barbara of Rewood City, CA and Regina Fiel of Amarillo. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday at the funeral home and request memorial donations be to the American Heart Assoc. 6605 I-40 W. Amarillo, Texas 79106.
