Joyce A. Dickey

Joyce A. Dickey, 83, of Amarillo died Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Memorial Service is at 11:00 am Monday, October 4, at South West Church of Christ. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Joyce was born in Pauls Valley, Ok. on August 19, 1938, to Cordelia and Rufus E. White. She was a kind-hearted, loving, and generous soul. She was a dedicated member of South West Church of Christ. She did a lot of volunteering at the church. She met the love of her life, Richard in college. They married in 1959. The family relocated to Germany in 1960 when Richard was restationed. They moved back to the States in 1962. Joyce raised their three children while he was enlisted. They were married until his passing in 2000. Joyce was a member of the red hat society. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved playing card games such as samba and bridge. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and six siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer Golden, her two sons; Doug Dickey and Alic Bezzina, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial Friday, October 08, 2021 11:00 AM
