Joyce Ferril

Joyce Ferril 60, of Amarillo died Monday June 14, 2004. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Southlawn Assembly of God with Jarred Middaugh officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 PM at Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, TX. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas 79103 Joyce was born in Shamrock, TX and grew up in Twiity, TX. She married Lonnie Ferril in 1960 and they moved to Amarillo in 1961 from Shamrock. She has owned Cherry Ave. Auto Salvage since 1963, T-Miller Wrecker Service since 1965, and Amarillo Auto Crushing since 1998. She was the current President of Crime Stoppers for two years and a former member of the board of Tascosa Country Club. She was also a member of Tascosa Country Club's Women's Golf Association. She was preceded in death by a son William David Lee Ferril, II. Survivors include: her husband; Lonnie of the home, 2 sons Lonnie Ferril, Jr. and wife Jeni and Byron Ferril and wife Laverna both of Amarillo, 2 brothers Jody Barrett of Muleshoe and Donald Wheeler of Lubbock, and five grandchildren.
