Joyce Lavon Palmer

Joyce Lavon Palmer, 72, of Amarillo died Tuesday July 7, 2020. No Services are scheduled. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Joyce was born November 25, 1947 in Greenville to Erma and Harley Woodard. She was a Strong, Protecting and providing mother. She loved her children with all her heart. Joyce enjoyed playing bingo, camping, and shing. She loved interior designing. She married the love of her life, Millard "Buddy" Palmer July 31, 1964. She enjoyed riding in the truck with him. They were married until he died in 1995. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her Parents, two daughters, Debbie Palmer, and Wendy Harris. She is survived by her three sons, Jerry Palmer and his wife Shawna, Michael palmer and his wife Jennie, and Joey Palmer and his wife Sky; four sisters, Donna Solomon and her husband Kenneth, and Tracey Shearer and her husband John, Tammie Woodard Heberlein, April Woodard lane; one brother, Randy Woodard;a nephew who she truly cherished, Shawn Riddlespurger; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
