Juan Jose Bretado Sr.

Juan Jose Bretado Sr., 57, of Amarillo passed away on Monday June 29, 2015 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Rector Funeral Home with Jessie Lucero officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Rosary will be said from 5:30 to 7:00 Thursday in the Funeral Home. Arrangements are By Rector Funeral Home. Juan was born March 19, 1958 in Juarez, Mexico to Salvador and Teresa Bretado. He was a dedicated family man, he worked at Tyson most of his life. He lived, worked, and sacrificed for his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, and trips. Juan liked to watch old movies and shows like the Three Stooges and the History Channel. Juan was a big music lover, he listened to everything from the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Linkin Park, and Nirvana. He took pride in watching his family grow. He taught all of us to respect what was earned and not given, he would say to be the man, you gotta beat the man. He was truly loved, and will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by a brother; Robert Bretado, and a granddaughter; Brianna Alyssa Bretado. Juan is survived by; his wife; Alice Bretado, Three Sons; Jose Luis Bretado and wife Melissa, Juan Jose Bretado Jr. and wife Lillie, and Santino Salvador Bretado and wife Leticia, a daughter; Samantha Luisa Bretado and boyfriend Tony, his Parents; Salvador Bretado and Teresa Bretado, Four Brothers; Sergio Bretado and wife Chris, Moronie Bretado and wife Reyna, Jerry Bretado, and Salvador Bretado Jr. and wife Dolores, a sister; Veronica Perez and husband Hector, 11 Grandchildren; Sophia, Isaiah, Aryanna, and Jose Jr., Juan III, Isaac, Jacob, and Jonathan, Alyssa, Claudio, and Saidee, and many nieces and nephews
