Juan Martinez Guzman

Juan Martinez Guzman, 54 of Amarillo died Saturaday, May 27, 2017. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Life Ministries Church. Graveside services will follow in Llano Cemetery with Oscar and Sylvia Maldonado officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Juan was born Oct. 6, 1962, in Memphis, Texas, to Ramiro and Martina Guzman. He lived in Amarillo for most of his life and attended Caprock High School. He loved family gatherings and music. Juan loved antique automobiles, especially his black two-door 1964 Impala. He was a member of New Life Ministries Church. Juan was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a brother, Ramiro Guzman Jr.; two sisters, Marilynn Valdez and Malinda Marmolejo; an uncle, Baldemar Medrano; two aunts, Suzana Bustos and Elvira Luevano; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
