Juanita Koen

Juanita Koen, 86 of Amarillo died Monday January 15, 2007 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Caradan Cemetery at Caradan, Texas. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 S. Coulter Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Koen was born in Lubbock. She moved to Amarillo 15 years ago from San Angelo. She was a homemaker and loved quilting with the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Primitive Baptist Church. She married Clarence Koen on May 19, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include: 2 sons; Ronal Gene Koen of Dallas and Dr. Lloyd Dean Koen of Amarillo, 1 sister; Betty Jo Farley of Lubbock, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be to a favorite charity.
