Juanita R. Scrivener

Juanita R. Scrivener, 71, of Amarillo died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003. Memorial services will be at 9:00 AM Wednesday at Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Scrivener was born in Childress. She moved to Amarillo from Clovis, NM in 1966. She was honored by the American Business Womens Association in Clovis, NM as the Woman of the Year in 1964. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Scrivener in 1992. Survivors include: 1 son, Joe Mike Ortega of Amarillo; 1 sister, “Dimples” Stores; 1 granddaughter; and 2 great-grandchildren.
