Judy Nell Holt

Judy Nell Holt, 78, of Amarillo died Monday, November 8, 2022. Graveside service is 11:00 am Saturday, November 12, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Plainview officiated by Pastor Dee Teel Of Northwest Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Judy was born on the Lubbock Army Flying Field on July 9, 1944, during World War II to Aubrey and Vera Holt. As a young child, she was always a happy girl. She loved to play and spend time with her siblings. She later graduated from Lubbock Christian College. Judy loved going to family reunions. She always made friends wherever she went. Judy was a devout Christian. She loved to read the bible. She would read the bible aloud to whoever wanted to listen often having a big group. Judy also enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for her nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Glen McElry. She is survived by her two sisters; Jerry Holt Tirey and Jimmie Beaty, two brothers; Aubrey holt and his wife Caroline, and joe Holt, her nieces and nephews; Marina Tirey, Lisa Tirey Butler and her husband Michael, Vanesa Mir and her husband Atiq, Suzan Hendrickson and her husband Charles, Garett Holt, and Travis Holt and his wife Krystal, and two special friends; Frankie and Gary Carrel.
