Julie Marie Gonzalez Swanson, 59, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Llano East Cemetery with Minister Jared Berry, associate pastor of Fairview Assembly of God officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Julie was born April 22, 1966, in Amarillo, TX to Erasmo Gonzalez and Veara “Marie” (Provence) Gonzalez. She grew up in Houston. She attended Fairview Assembly of God with her sister.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marie and Erasmo Gonzalez; sisters, Lenor Gonzalez, Rose Mary Gonzalez, and Cathy Mae Hernandez; brother, Danny Moman; grandson, Jax Covalt; and granddaughter, Sydney Smith.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Covalt and Heaven Boyett; son, Paul Swanson; sisters, Annie Provence and Nadia Gonzalez; brothers Casperito Gonzalez, David Provence, Bobby King, and Erasmo Gonzalez Jr.; grandchildren, Hayden, Jacob, and Hayleigh Covalt, Bryce and Brooklyn Swanson, and Lincoln Boyett.
