Kathleen Deaver

Kathleen ""Pete"" Deaver 79 of Amarillo, died Saturday, June 18, 2005 Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Kingswood United Methodist Church with Dr. Wylie E. ""Buff"" Hearn, senior pastor officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel. Mrs. Deaver was born in Norman, OK. She moved to Amarillo in 1927 from Norman. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of the Aldergate Sunday School Class at Kindswood United Methodist Church. She married Bert Deaver in 1942 at Amarillo. Survivors include: her husband of the home, 2 daughters; Dannye Kaye Horton and her husband Charles of Belton, and Carolyn Sue Wood and her husband; David of Amarillo, 1 son; Glenn Deaver of Amarillo, 3 sisters; Gerry Keesee, Donnie Persall and Violet Doyle all of Amarillo, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
