Kathy Ann Alonzo

Kathy Ann Alonzo, 49, of Amarillo died Wednesday, May 26, 2021. No services have been scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Kathy was born in Michigan on November 10, 1971. She met the love of her life, Jose at the Iron Skillet, Where the two of them worked. She was very patient yet persistent, constantly reminding him that they would end up getting married. After a year of fighting, Jose finally lost the battle. They married on September 11, 2017. She was the type of woman to push to be a better person. She was a very hard worker; she was honest and spoke her mind. Kathy enjoyed reading, and going to garage sales, searching for knickknacks of her youth. Kathy is preceded in death by two of her children; Jeffery and Sarah Cheslock. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mary Katherine Cheslock, and two stepdaughters; Alice and Amaya.
