Kathy Evelyn Flusche

Kathy Flusche passed away peacefully in the presence of her children on March 15, 2024 in Amarillo, TX. She was born on December 23, 1949 in Dublin, TX to Dale and Evelyn Bramlett. She was a graduate of the class of 1968 of Idalou High School.

She was a stay-at-home mom and an expert seamstress until her kids were grown. Then, she became a real estate agent and ran her own property management company until her retirement in 2022.

She was dedicated to family, including all of her children’s friends who knew her as “Mama Flusche” who might need a warm meal or a place to stay.

She was preceded in death by Dale and Evelyn Bramlett, Chuck Flusche, Brothers-in-Law Dan Wilbanks and Joe Wilbanks.

She was survived by her children Karla McCarty (Shawn) of Carlsbad, NM, Carri Flusche of Lubbock, Amy Carlson (Jeffery) of Hereford, Ken Flusche of Amarillo, and Lauren Clopton (Mark) of Amarillo.

She was “Meemaw” to her grandchildren Aaron Emory of Lubbock, Haylee Emory (Kendle Lara) of Colorado Springs, CO, Dixie Arnoldy (Chris) of Carlsbad, NM, McKenna Armour of Lubbock, Braxton Chappel of Amarillo, Hayden and Emily Carlson of Hereford, and Jaxon and Kyler Clopton of Amarillo.

Great grandchildren Raelynn, Caysley, Mackynna, and Graycie of Carlsbad, NM.

She is also survived by her sisters Barbara Wilbanks, Brenda Wilbanks, and Sandy Everitt (Lee J.), all of Idalou, and numerous nieces and nephews.
