Kay Lynn Kirkpatrick Maxey Glenn

Kay Lynn Kirkpatrick Maxey Glenn, 62 of Amarillo died Tuesday December 29, 2015 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, with Dr. Howard Batson of First Baptist Church officiating. Cremation Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Kay was born in Lawton, OK on October 16, 1953 to Everett and Geneva Kirkpatrick. While attending Amarillo High School she spent her summers working at Wonderland Park. After graduating in 1972 she went and worked for Santa Fe Railway in the superintendents office. When the Santa Fes office closed Kay and her mother went into business together co-owning Wimberly Florist and Wedding Shop. Kay is preceded in death by; her father, and first husband; Jasper N. Mac Maxey. She is survived by; her husband; James Glenn, a daughter; Melissa Webb and husband Troy; a son; TJ Maxey and wife Kristenna, Mother; Geneva Kirkpatrick, two grandchildren; Jared Webb and Jasmin Maxey all of Amarillo, a brother; James Kirkpatrick and wife Pam of Belen, NM, a step daughter; Allison Glenn, a step son; Jason Glenn, and step grandchild; Taylin Glenn of E.
