Kelly Gene Moran

Kelly Gene Moran, 46, of Amarillo; died Tuesday October 25, 2005 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel with Dr. Roger Hubbard of Lake Tanglewood Community Church officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park; arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel 8310 South Coulter. Mr. Moran was an entertainer and had just returned from a USO tour. Kelly was a talented pianist and was a partner in the Amarillo Comedy Club; he also donated a lot of his time and talent to charity organizations in the panhandle area. He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Moran. Survivors include: 2 daughters Aubrey Neily Moran of Santa Barbara, CA, and Madilyn Bella Moran of Amarillo; his father Preston Moran of Amarillo; 3 sisters Cathy Price of Orange County, CA, Kym Perkins of Corona,CA, and Joan Gaxiola of Twin Falls, Idaho; 3 brothers Kevin Moran, and Kenneth Moran both of Amarillo, and Richard Jenson of California; and 1 grandson Noah James Sparks of Santa Barbara, CA. The family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association Star Chapter at 1400 Wallace Amarillo, Texas 79106.
