Kenneth Roberts

Kenneth ""Chief"" Roberts, 73, of Amarillo, died Monday in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:00am (CST), 9:00am (MST) Friday, at Lawn Haven Memorial Park in Clovis, NM, with Rev. K. Ray McDowell of First Church of the Nazarene in Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. in Amarillo. Mr. Roberts married Lou Ella Graham in 1951 at Clovis, and moved to Amarillo in 1974. Survivors include his wife of the home; 1 daughter, Katie Horn and husband Reggie of Las Cruces, NM; 2 sons, Darrell Roberts of Ruidoso, NM, and Ronnie Roberts and wife Coby of Abilene; 2 sisters, Vikie Sopp and husband Chuck of Irvin, and Jean Threet and husband Roy of Odessa; 3 granddaughters; and 2 great-granddaughters.
