Kenneth Stratton

Kenneth ""Kenny"" Stratton 46, of Amarillo died Monday March 2, 2009 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Bell Avenue Church of Christ with Glenn Walton officiating. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Stratton was born in Amarillo. He attended Palo Duro High School. He worked as a foreman at Scrap Processing for more than 25 years. He also owned KAS Kars for 5 years. Mr. Stratton was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth and Myrtie Helms and a brother Johnny Stratton. He married Tracy Taylor in Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; 4 daughters, Brandy Stratton of Sayre, OK, Brittany Stratton and Cindy Moody both of Amarillo; Samantha Boelyn of Houston and 1 son, Jeffery Stratton of Newwaverly; his mother, Ruby Helms of Amarillo; his father, John Stratton, Jr. of Dallas; 2 sisters, Sharon Stratton and Tammy Powers both of Amarillo; 4 brothers, Doug Stratton, Robert Stratton and Tim Stratton all of Amarillo and Tuffy Pennock of Akron, OH; 10 grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations to Odyssey Hospice.
