Kennith 'Danny' Daniel Howard Jr.

Kennith "Danny" Daniel Howard Jr., 66, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 3, 2022. the family will host a memorial service 2 pm Saturday, April 2 at Messiah's House 6901 Bell, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Mullins. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Danny was born in Charleston, SC. on November 10, 1955, to Kennith D. Sr. and Barbara Howard. He moved to Amarillo as a child. After graduating from Caprock High School, Danny learned to be crafty and good with his hands becoming a handyman. He enjoyed fishing, writing poetry, and loved listening to Elvis Presley. Danny never met a stranger, was very outspoken and comical. He was also a very generous man with a big heart, always willing to help anyone. He loved spending time with his family. He adored his dogs, Abby and Bossman. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dennis Cooper, and his grandmother, Opal Hall. He is survived by his significant other, Melinda McLeland, one daughter, Tiffany Banigo, and her husband Segun, one son, Jarred Jones, one grandson, Kymani Banigo, and two sisters; Terry Johnston and Andrea Eonv Lehe.
