Krystyne Douglas, 84, of Borger died Sunday March 27, 2005 in Amarillo, Texas Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday March 31, 2005 at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, with Rev. Chad Chaddick, pastor of Fairlanes Baptist Church in Borger officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel. Mrs. Douglas was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She moved to Borger from Sanford in 1939. She married Edward Douglas in 1956 at Phillips, Texas. She worked as a clerk for Phillips Petroleum for about 35 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church in Borger. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Powell in 1948, and by 2 daughters, Janice Powell in 2002, and Anita Francis in 2003. Survivors include: her husband of the home; 1 sister, Ione Miller of Denton, TX; 1 brother, Ronald Heath of Dumas, TX; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
