Lanell Winters, 69, of Amarillo died Saturday, January 14, 2006 in Amarillo. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday January 18, 2006 at 1:00 PM in Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 South Coulter, Amarillo TX. Lanell was a lifetime resident of Amarillo. She worked in the healthcare profession as a operating room technician with High Plains Baptist & Northwest Texas Hospital for over 35 years. She loved reading, cooking, movies, music and dancing. She loved spending time with her family. She was a good friend, faithful worker and a lover of animals. Survivors include two daughters, Terre Rea Heydari of Dallas; and Linda Grigsby Sandridge of Amarillo; two sons, David Rea of Amarillo and Joe Grigsby of Dallas; three granddaughters, Abbe Garrett; Mindy Sandridge, ; and Katy Sandridge all of Amarillo; three grandsons, Clint Rea of Las Vegas, NV; Terry Rea of Lewisville TX and Timothy Heydari of Dallas; three great-granddaughters, Autumn; Ava, and Summer; and two great-grandsons, Ashton and Christian; and her loving dog Max.
