Larry Kent Boggs

Larry Kent Boggs, a lifelong resident of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on November 13, 1956, to Kenneth and Jewell Boggs, Larry was a cherished brother, uncle, and friend who lived a life full of passion and joy.

A proud graduate of Caprock High School, Larry was known for his love of cooking, his green thumb in the garden, and his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a voracious reader, having immersed himself in thousands of books, and he found solace in the quiet moments spent fishing or lost in a good movie.

Larry leaves behind a legacy of laughter and kindness. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gary, Ronnie, Steven, Dennis, and Joel, as well as his sisters Jerri Tyler and Julie Albright. He is survived by his loving sisters, Gloria Elaine Coleman and her husband Chris, Stephanie Kennemer, and his brother Millas Andrew Boggs.

Larry's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories and memories shared by all who knew him.
