Larry Dale Horton

Larry Dale Horton of Amarillo died Monday July 29, 2019. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Larry was born on April 18, 1956 to Bob and Wanda Horton in Clovis NM. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1975. Larry was charismatic, kind and a gentleman. When he met the love of his life, Gail, it was love at first sight. The two were inseparable. Larry was persistent in asking Gail to marry him several times before they finally tied the knot April 18, 1985. He was a jokester, but also big hearted and never met a stranger. He was a family man. Larry loved his family unconditionally. They meant the world to him. Gail would like to express her and Larrys appreciation to J.R and Teressa Horton for all their generosity and significant love and help throughout the years. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Gail, a daughter Rachel Brown, four sons Stephen, Bobby, Jeffrey Horton and Anthony Wilson, and his sister Nancy Long.
