Larry Martinez

Larry Martinez, 49, of Amarillo passed Sunday March 25, 2018. Larry was born in Denver City and lived most of his life in Amarillo. He graduated from Caprock High School and had a lifelong love for working on cars. He competed in the State level auto competition in high school and placed 1st place with his auto body project. He worked in the body shop for the City of Amarillo and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Amarillo. Larry met the love of his life Isabel Vasquez and was married in 1989. He was a devoted family man who adored his wife and children. He is survived by: Wife Isabel Martinez; Daughters Audry and Alexis Martinez and Fianc Jacob Burton; Mother Delia Martinez; Brothers Julian Martinez JR. and Jimmy Martinez; Sisters Irma Lopez, Sally Vasquez and Christina Rodriguez. He is preceded by: Father Julian Martinez SR.; Grandparents Guadalupe and Jesus Guzman Nestora and Pedro Martinez.
