Larry Dean Puryear

Larry Dean Puryear, 52 of Amarillo died Thursday October 31, 2002. Services will be held Sunday Nov. 3, 2002 at Mena, Arkansas by Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Big Fork, Ark. Local arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Puryear was born in Tipton, OK. He lived in Amarillo most of his life. He worked at Firestone and at Nissan of Amarillo for several years as a service manager. He was a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church. Survivors include: 4 daughters, Jill Vasquez of Lubbock and Leslie Ann Puryear and Jennifer Puryear both of Midland and Megan Puryear, of Oklahoma, 1 son; Chad Puryear of Lubbock, his mother; Winnie “Wendy” Puryear of Amarillo, 3 sisters; Regina Barkley of Amarillo, Nelda Asplof of Canyon and Belinda Cooper of Wildorado and 3 grandchildren. The family will be at 3800 NE 20th and request memorial donations be to Baptist St. Anthonys Hospice and Life Enrichment Center 200 NW 7th Amarillo, Texas 79107
