Laura Hubbard

Laura Hubbard 42, of Amarillo died Friday October 23, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Family Life Fellowship Church with Matt Johnson, pastor of The Loft Church officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Laura was born in Pampa. She received her Masters of Education degree from West Texas A&M University. She taught school in Dimmitt, Oklahoma City and Hereford. After leaving her teaching career, Laura opened the Kids Learning Academy in Amarillo. Laura was very kind-hearted and loved children. She was an excellent teacher and enjoyed furthering the education of the children she was entrusted to care for. Laura also enjoyed cooking for her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. Laura is survived by one son, Cory Marshall Hubbard of Amarillo; three daughters, Alisha Marie Hubbard, Macy Ann Hubbard and Heaven Rain Hubbard all of Amarillo; her father, John Hubbard of Livingston; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
