Laura Patricia Ulloa-Saldaña

Laura Patricia Ulloa-Saldaa, 68, of Amarillo, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023. Funeral service is 2:00 pm Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jose Arzate. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive guests Monday 12-8 pm at the funeral home. Laura was born in Juarez, Mexico on November 14, 1954, to Antonio and Josefa Ulloa. She married the love of her life, Raymundo. They celebrate their Civil Union on February 2, 1974. They also Celebrate their wedding day on March 9, 1974. She moved to the United States on July 4, 1990. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Laura was strong, supportive and the backbone of the family. Laura loved to cook, sing, and was always joyful and welcoming. She was a mother figure to many including those that werent related. She had the most contagious laughter, lighting up a room. Laura was always happy. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Emilia Rubio, Maria Ulloa, Micaela Fernandez, and Guadalupe Meraz, and one brother, Jose Ulloa. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Raymundo Saldaa, one daughter, Ivonne Urbieta and her husband Jesus, two Sons: Hernan Saldaa and fianc Ericka Quam, and Fabian Saldaa, seven: Pamela, Paola, Elvin, Angel, Adrian, Amy, and Armando, grandchildren, two sisters: Eloisa Casas, and Ernestina Reyes.
