Laurencia Saucedo

Laurencia Saucedo, 85, of Amarillo passed away on December 29, 2022. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage. Rosary will begin at 6pm. Laurencia was born in Mexico on November 10, 1937 to Ladislado and Delores (Chacon) Roman. She was a housewife all of her life and mother of five children. She adored her children and grandchildren. Laurencia especially enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas and traveling to Mexico as often as she could. Laurencia is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Saucedo, Guerrero Ozaeta, Angel Roman, and Eulogio Chacon. Those left to cherish her memories are her children Benito Roman and wife Evelyn, Martin Martinez and wife Marylou, Juan Saucedo, and Maribel Terry; as well as her 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
