Lea Mae Bednorz-Bruce

Lea Mae Bednorz-Bruce 82 of Amarillo died Saturday March 24, 2012 in Amarillo Private memorial graveside services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Bruce was born on the family farm near White Deer, TX on April 1, 1929. She lived in Beaver, OK for many years. She moved to Amarillo in 2000 from Medford, OK. She married Rex Bruce on June 3, 1948 in Pampa. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers. She is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Bruce of Plano, Janis Camfield and her husband David and Patty Bruce all of Amarillo; 2 sons, Rex Bruce and his wife Sally of Sublette, KS and Michael Bruce and his wife Judy of Oklahoma City, OK, a brother, Pat Bednorz and his wife Ann of Corpus Christi; 2 brothers in law, Tex Bruce of Longview and Robert Phillips of Dallas; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
