Lee Wheeler

Lee Wheeler, 66 of Amarillo died Wednesday July 14, 2004. Memorial services will be at 10:00 am Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Wheeler was born in Modesto, CA. He moved to Amarillo in 1972 from Modesto. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Amarillo International Airport as a on-board security officer in 2000. Mr. Wheeler married Marceia Adkins in 1962 at San Antonio. Survivors include: his wife of the home, 2 daughters; Lisa Miller of Cape Gerardo, MO, and Janeen Lindsey of Riverbank, CA, 1 son; Mark Wheeler of Amarillo, 2 sisters; Aleen Mellon and Martha Buckingham both of Modesto, CA, 5 brothers; Ray Wheeler of Kingman, AZ, Darl Wheeler of Holdenville, OK, Harold Wheeler and Cliff Wheeler both of Modesto, CA and Herb Wheeler of Rockwell City, OH, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
