Len Crisler

Len Crisler, 59 of Amarillo, died Sunday January, 2, 2005. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Polk Street United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Crisler was born in Syracuse, NY to Tom and Lottie (Zaring) Slocum. They moved to Amarillo more than fifty years ago from Adrian. She worked as the food service supervisor for the Amarillo ISD 13 years. She also served as the ""Nutri-Clown"". She was currently employed at Sundown Elementary School as the cafeteria manager. She married Courtney Crisler in 1962 at Amarillo. Mrs. Crisler was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father in 1998 and her mother in 1999. Survivors include her husband, of the home, 2 sons; Courtney Gene Crisler and Kenneth Lee Crisler both of Amarillo, 1 sister; Vicki Youngblood and her husband Tim of Amarillo, a niece; Heather Gaut of Amarillo and 2 grandchildren; Ashley and Taylor. The family requests memorial donations be to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children PO Box 199300 Dallas, Texas 75210-9300.
